Do you do commercial work?
While a bulk of my business at Two Big Feet Tree Pruning and Removal is residential work, I frequently contract with commercial property owners and businesses. This scope of work generally requires my crews to operate when the owner’s business is closed.
What areas do you service?
I proudly service all of the Flint Hills and also travel outside of the region and the State of Kansas.
Why do you climb the trees?
Like many of my customers, I take great pride in the landscaping at my house. The last thing I want to do is bring in heavy machinery that will damage the ground and the homeowner’s landscaping; climbing the tree to manually remove it prevents unnecessary damage.
How tall are you?
Well, since you asked, I’m a solid 6′ 10″! But my wife says I’m actually taller than that, based on her measurements.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes! Not only am I fully licensed and insured, but I maintain the necessary credentials to operate my business in surrounding towns and cities outside of Manhattan, Wamego, St. George, and Junction City.
Can you work around power lines?
Yes. I have been certified to work around power lines for over a decade and own the necessary equipment required for safe removal of vegetation.
What is a Certified Arborist?
A certified arborist is trained in tree hazard assessment and can often identify signs of disease or decay before they are visible. Tree trimmers may not be able to identify these items or they may fail to use proper procedures that could cause injury or damage to the tree.
How long have you been in business?
My company, Two Big Feet Tree Pruning, and Removal, has been in business since 2006.
Why the name “Two Big Feet”?
Well, first off, people call me “Big Foot!” – Have you ever noticed my shoes?! I wear a size 18. Everyone said to name your company after something people associate you with, so I did!
